Rotary Axis Options

LMT-R3J – Rotary axis. This larger chuck takes up no more center-to-center space than the 2.5 inch chuck, but it will hold larger work. It has a clamping range from 3/32 inch(2 mm) up to 1-1/2 inch (38 mm) diameter with the jaws in the normal position. With the jaws in the reversed position, work up to 2-3/4 inch (70 mm) can be gripped. This self-centering chuck has jaws that are individually ground to fit each slot for maximum accuracy. Rotating the knurled outer ring closes all three jaws simultaneously to quickly grip round or hexagonal stock. Tommy bars (provided) are used in the holes in the side to tighten and loosen the chuck for more leverage. The chuck is connected to the LMT 4 inch rotary table which provides smooth, controlled motion with dampened dynamic coupling via direct control from the LMT software interface.
LMT-R3J-6 – LMT-Rotary axis with a 6in Diameter with a 3 Jaw chuck.
LMT-R5C – Rotary axis with 5C collet system for continuous marking around the diameter.
LMT-R3J-T – Tilting rotary axis, primarily used in the Jewelry industry, is able to mark the OD and ID of cylindrical items.
