Laser annealing is an excellent technique for creating high-contrast markings on cutting tools. The process involves heating the surface until it almost reaches its melting point and oxidizing it. As the material cools, it darkens and produces clear markings with minimal distortion. It is ideal for adding identifying marks on cutting tools, such as logos or barcodes.
