How to add contour to a 3D object

  1. Select the 3D button on the top tool bar
  2. Import the .STL file or draw a 3D object
  3. Place the object in the center of origin using the Surface translation button
  4. Select the surface delamination button
  5. Input the minimum z value and the maximum z value, input the desired thickness of the layer.
  6. Select the slice and select the add contour button
  7. Draw an object to match the .STL file that you imported in and hatch it

How to project a vector file on a 3D object of .stl file

  1. Select the 3d button on the top tool bar
  2. Import the .stl file or draw a 3D object
  3. Place the object in the center of origin using the Surface translation button
  4. Select the 3d button again to bring the software back to normal operating mode
  5. Draw the vector file and hatch if desired, place where it will be on the 3d object
  6. Select the 3d button again
  7. Select the surface delamination button
  8. Input the minimum z value and the maximum z value, input the desired thickness of the layer.
