You can laser engrave products for various purposes using different techniques. Whether for reliable identification, material protection or efficient production, laser engraving has several solutions to suit your requirements.

 

Serialization

 

We have experienced software engineers who can assist with connections to SAP, HANNA, Epicore, Orchid, Oracle and other databases. Connecting with these databases ensures the correct serial code is permanently engraved onto each unique firearm. It also prevents duplication, matching with the serial number in your system.

Decoration

 

Efficiently add your brand logo, designs and textures to firearms. After manufacturing, our engraving and laser etching systems can quickly decorate the gun barrel and components with intricate details.

Cerakote

 

Create marks on Cerakote-coated firearms without affecting the underlying material. Our laser etching and engraving systems use laser imaging to add decoration and serial codes to Cerakote for personalization and firearm identification.

Welding

 

Utilize laser welding systems during production to weld components together quickly and efficiently. This allows you to create high-precision, intricate welds with tight tolerances. Laser welding has a minimal heat-affected zone (HAZ) so only a small area is heat-affected, reducing the risk of damage and distortion. Additionally, additive material isn’t necessary for typical laser welding processes.

Great visit with the engineers today @danieldefense for obvious (DOD) reasons video and pictures from inside the facility are strictly forbidden. It was great to see our machinery in the wild! They have multiple LMT machines in production and are being used in many other aspects besides deep engraving to meet AtF depth requirements. As we continue to work with their main laser engineer on all things laser, Ryan. Ryan has completed Cerakote imaging training at LMT and as well  @cerakote in Oregon. With his knowledge base of Cerakote imaging from both companies he is making things happen quickly!  When Daniel Defense says “IT’S IN OUR DNA TO BUILD THE BEST” we fully understand what that means, and we will continue to build the machinery to support this mission! . !! 1 hour down to 8 minutes !! That’s the Headline!  We met with Zac, owner of @weaponworksllc and @wwactual and went over the challenges he was facing with his previous laser equipment. Zac started off with a couple of functional Chinese made lasers purchased in the US from a now, defunct company that was about as American as the paper flag stickers they slapped on their imported “equipment”. When we met up at @shotshow and  discussed his process we knew we could help. Fast forward a few weeks and our machines were delivered and installed by our team which also provided onsite training. The massive increase in throughput allows Zac to quote projects much more competitively now that he’s 6X faster! What a Journey!  After a quick meeting with Brian Hall from @cerakote at ShotShow it was suggested that Zac @weaponworksllc would be the perfect company for LMT to partner with on the development of MOPA laser parameter sets for their new PFAS free F series! That conversation with Brian set things into quick motion, fast forward a few weeks later and LMT is onsite delivering and training some of the sexiest machine designs ever! (Yeah of course our opinion is a bit biased ☺️) the team at Weapon Works quickly adapted to the new machines. Three of the massive differences they appreciated between their existing laser machines and ours 
1. Speed of deep engraving, more videos to follow but taking them down from 8 minutes to 45 seconds
2. Ease of use, from 64 Bit high end software and PC’s that easily handle massive graphic files to an intuitive machine design that just makes sense. . . . . . . . . . .  3.Premade firearms templates and a recipe library for Cerakote Imaging ready to run out of the crate!
