LMT Connect Account Deletion

Laser Marking Technologies, LLC provides this page for users of the LMT Connect app to request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to request account deletion

1. In LMT Connect, open Account, select Privacy & Security, and select Request Account Deletion.
2. If you cannot access the app, email sales@lmtgrp.com from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject LMT Connect account deletion and include your account email and company name.

Do not include your password. LMT will verify that you are the account owner before processing the request. Requests are targeted for completion within 30 days. An in-app request can be cancelled while its status is still pending.

Data deleted

After verification, LMT deletes or de-identifies personal data associated specifically with the individual account, including:

• the LMT Connect authentication identity;
• the user’s profile name, email address, phone number, address, and profile image;
• device push-notification tokens and notification preferences;
• personal machine-access grants and organization-membership access; and
• other account-specific personal data that is not subject to a retention duty.

Data that may be retained

Machine telemetry, machine configuration, warranty, service, sample, support, and other organization-owned business records may remain available to the customer organization after an individual’s account is removed. LMT removes or de-identifies the deleted user’s direct identifiers from those records where practicable.

Records required for security, fraud prevention, warranty administration, contract enforcement, tax, accounting, or other legal obligations may be retained for up to seven years. Data retained for those purposes is access restricted and deleted or de-identified when the applicable retention period ends.

Partial data deletion

LMT Connect does not currently offer a separate self-service request to delete only selected data while keeping the account active.
